Good price and portions! Fish was expensive (about 8) so went for sausage which was about 2.50 for a large. Large chips aswell about 3 and good portion. Salt and vinegar on the side so can add yourself which is great bc I usually have to ask for extra! Very quick service

Small ground floor take away with a nice little restaurant above. I have to say this is some of the friendliest service we've received in a restaurant, in a long time. The serving staff simply could not do enough to help everyone & make them as comfortable as possible, despite being very busy & rushed. We had fish & chips which were to die for and we're very reasonably priced, & a lot cheaper than the cafe over the road! We were offered a jar of home made tartar sauce, to go with our meal & it was simply gorgeous. My only complaint is, that eventually we had to leave, to go home!

Great quick take out meal from this local fish n chips restaurant when other places were closing up shop! We’ve been visiting from the US and fish and chips have been a sought out treat on our journey so a quick take out version made us feel like “home folks.” The servers were kind and helpful by realizing right away we were from FAR out of town and could use some advice on ordering and boy did they help with advice! We enjoyed our meal. I ordered mind with curry sauce rather than mushy peas. I don’t know what the peas needed other than salt but it’s one concept this southern can’t get behind; even Canadian knew fries needed brown gravy rather than peas but to each their own- this country boy from Mississippi will take curry sauce, malt vinegar, brown gravy or ranch dressing any day before he covered “chips” in mushy peas. Still a delicious meal that we’ll remember for a long time.
